Wat de eBox-diensten van de Sociale Zekerheid betreft, zal de REST API van de ebox-federatie die gebruikt wordt om de status van een Burger eBox te raadplegen (POST /citizenEboxConsents/search) niet beschikbaar zijn tijdens de interventie, gezien de afhankelijkheid van de EUCAPI-dienst bij BOSA.

Verstuur voor zover mogelijk geen oproepen naar dit eindpunt tijdens deze periode en voer de oproepen uit wanneer de service is hersteld. Als u uw systeem niet kunt afsluiten, moet u in deze periode rekening houden met technische fouten.

Au niveau des services eBox de la Sécurité Sociale, l’API REST ebox-federation permettant de consulter le statut d’une eBox Citoyen (POST /citizenEboxConsents/search) sera indisponible durant l’intervention, vu la dépendance au service EUCAPI de BOSA.

Dans la mesure du possible, il est demandé de ne pas envoyer d’appels sur cet endpoint durant cette période et réaliser les appels lorsque le service sera rétabli. Si vous ne pouvez pas couper votre système, vous devez donc vous attendre à des erreurs techniques durant la période concernée.

We would like to inform you about a significant eBox infrastructure intervention scheduled for 26 May.

This intervention is essential to enhance the performance and reliability of our systems.

 When?

  • Date: 26 May
  • Time: The intervention will begin at 08:00 AM and is expected to conclude by 11:00 AM.
  • Duration: Approximately 3 hours

 Affected Systems?

During this period, there will be a complete downtime of the central eBox components hosted by BOSA.

This means that the following eBox services will be unavailable:

  • Document Provider (BOSA DP, BOSA INFO-DP): publication (DS & DSP) and consultation (HIP) of eBox messages
  • Event Handler: publication (DP) and consultation (DS, DSP, HIP) of events
  • All supporting APIs, such as EUCAPI and other Consent mechanisms
  • My eBox Portal: consultation of messages by its registered users

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.

How to avoid/minimize impact?

We strongly recommend all partners to avoid interacting with the centralised eBox components during the schedule maintenance window. 

If you cannot halt the interactions, you will need to rely on mechanisms that provide resilience, such as retry mechanisms supported by idempotency.

Citizens will not be able to access all their messages, will not receive notifications nor change their consent status during the downtime. 

We recommend that our HIP partners disable their eBox connection for the duration of the intervention and display a maintenance message to their users.

If Document Senders have any critical publication runs, please ensure they are completed prior to the intervention or scheduled to take place after the maintenance window.

 

BOSA will inform all eBox users (citizens) of the planned unavailability by posting an announcement on the BOSA INFO-DP service and by posting articles in our Portal and on our website.
